- ISO 45001 USPs
For most organisations, big or small, occupational health and safety will be one of your biggest risks. Our approach to health and safety is to work with you to make sure that significant risks to your business are identified and that proportionate safeguards are in place to reduce the risks to an acceptable level.
For a typical organisation, an ISO 45001 health and safety management system takes about 9-12 months to implement, and during the process you will gain peace of mind knowing that a methodical and proportionate approach is being taken to protect your company’s viability and keep your people safe.
We will not burden you with paperwork and bureaucracy and each phase of the project plan will bring real gains and improvements to the way you operate, without adding a heavy overhead burden.
Once completed, an assessor from an independent UKAS-accredited body will visit you to test your system against the ISO 27001:2015 standard. This will show your stakeholders that your health and safety risks are properly managed and will be a great help in keeping you at the top of the list when prospective clients chose who to work with
- ISO 45001 Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Can 27001 integrate with my existing management system?
Certainly. In fact all the ISO risk management systems are designed to work as a single integrated entity. Many of the functions can be combined (such as auditing and management review). This saves you time and money and gains you efficiency and continuity.
Is this a sales opportunity for me?
Yes. You will be able to display the ISO 14001 logo on your website, social media, stationery and vehicles. This will help differentiate you from your competitors.
I have ISO 9001. Will 14001 integrate with my existing system?
Very much so, such that the extra work is quite small. This will mean the implementation phase is quicker and cheaper for you. Your audits can be combined too, saving more time and money.
Are there on-going costs?
You will need to audit the system each year. We can do that for you or train your own staff to do it in the future. There will be an annual fee payable to the certification body as well, this is to pay for their annual surveillance visit.
