As well as being a 1000 year old place of worship, the church is a thriving concert venue and manages an adjacent language college. With such an organisation come risks, particularly health & safety and fire.
Fircks Consultancy has created a management system for the church to ensure that these risks are adequately and proportionately managed.
The church then has the tools to manage the risks itself with ad-hoc support from Fircks as well as annual routines of staff training, briefing the safety committee and reviewing risk assessments.

Our set up is quite complicated and diverse. We have a 13th Century Church, and an old building built in the 18th Century which is divided into two parts. The centre is used for community use and hire of halls to various organisations and the other part mainly for educational purposes.We needed a professional consultant able to handle all aspects of Health and Safety and Fire Risk assessments.
