Low Carbon Ltd, an Exeter based Solar and Wind Energy Farm business have successfully achieved ISO 9001 status with the careful guidance of Fircks Consultancy
Based in Exeter, this company manages wind and solar farms throughout the country and is currently rapidly expanding. ISO 9001 was seen as a logical next step to give the business’s shareholders and clients confidence that all quality assurance points are covered. The management system is now to be used as the framework for managing environmental risks too, for which the company is soon to add ISO 14001 to its achievement.
The project was structured around weekly visits from the consultant, with tasks being completed between each visit. Progress was rapid and rewarding, everyone got involved enthusiastically and made the implementation a rewarding experience from which the company continues to gain
